"Cannelles!"

- Karen L.

"We went mid October around 1030am and had to wait in a long line but it only took maybe 40 minutes to be seated. Not much of a waiting area. Most customers were college students. Kids orders chicken tenders with fries and they said it was good. I ordered a pasty which was perfect. Husband ordered a cheeseburger and said it was good. Inside could use alittle cleaning. Staff were very nice."

- Melissa

"Great food served quickly by friendly staff. We sat at the counter and had fun chats with the servers and one of the regulars while we enjoyed eggs and sausage (youper style). They also had delicious looking Finish baked goods but I did not try them. I will be back when in the area again."

- Janet S.

"What a great find for a yummy breakfast! We were seated immediately by a welcoming hostess. Our server was friendly and personable. Our meals were delicious and cooked to order! I was glad I tried the pannukakku - it's delicious! I would live in Houghton just to be able to go here for breakfast everyday! Every hometown should have a Suomi's!"

"You can almost taste the cardamom just looking at the sign. Suomi did not disappoint, it was delicious. I had the pannukkaku and the nisu toast because I never get Finnish flavor at home. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and warm-I always love that! Def recommend Suomi!"

"Ordered take out. Very courteous on the phone. Food was sooooo good. Ordered egg salad sandwich (delicious) and Soubano sandwich (kid raved about how good this was) soup chili and a Pasty. Pasty was the best I've had and the chili was super thick, meaty and delicious. If in the area, would definitely recommend!"

- Phillip H.

"Absolutely fabulous food & service!! We sampled all the Finnish specialties & they were so wonderful that we had to take some home with us. Suomi has, without a doubt, the best pasties ever! And the breakfast pasty w/sausage gravy was a delicious variation!"
